Learn how to easily find duplicate files on your Samsung Galaxy and keep your storage organized. Once you’ve identified them, you can just as easily delete duplicates to manage your storage space more efficiently.

How to analyze storage to find and delete duplicate files

Step 1. Open the My Files application.

Step 2. Navigate to and tap Analyze storage.

Step 3. Tap Duplicate files.

Step 4. Select the files and tap Delete to remove them.

Notes:

  • A confirmation is required to permanently delete the files.
  • Duplicate files will appear only if you have duplicated files on your Galaxy device.
